Roast Turkey with Rice Stuffing / New Year’s
Turkey Recipe

Ingredients

1 Whole Turkey  

2 Cups of Rice  

1 Onion  

1 Teaspoon Salt  

1 Teaspoon Black Pepper  

1 Small Glass of Raisins  

Half a Bunch of Parsley  

For the topping: 

2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste  

1 Small Glass of waterl  

 

In a pan, heat half a glass of vegetable oil and sauté the chopped onion until it becomes golden. Add the rice and stir for about 1-2 minutes. Then, add salt, black pepper, raisins, and chopped parsley, stirring everything together for a few more minutes.

Rinse the turkey thoroughly under running water. Place the turkey on a roasting pan and stuff it with the rice mixture. For the topping, mix the tomato paste and vegetable oil together and spread it evenly over the turkey. Then, place it in the oven at 200°C (400°F) and roast for about 4 hours. Once the turkey with rice stuffing is done, serve it hot. It goes great with a side of rice and vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
